Physical Therapy Services We Provide

pilatesWe offer one-on-one rehabilitative training within a friendly and comfortable facility.  The caring and experienced doctor works with the patient to determine the best therapy option for a quick recovery.  The individualized attention allows the doctor to observe the patient’s response to therapy and make the necessary changes.

The customized rehabilitation programs are determined through a series of specialized tests; including orthopedic and neurologic examination, muscle testing, muscle length assessment, muscle firing pattern analysis, posture analysis, gait analysis, and functional performance assessment. The rehabilitation program developed by the doctor will consist of a series of therapeutic exercises, which will be clearly explained and demonstrated to the patient to ensure correct implementation. It is important to strengthen the muscles for everyday movement and to ensure the muscles are moving correctly.

  • Orthopedic/Sports Injuries
  • Rehabilitative Strength Training
  • Core Strengthening
  • Spinal Stabilization
  • Stretching and relaxation for overactive/tight muscles
  • Balance/Proprioceptive rehab

  • Extremity strengthening

Physiotherapist working on an athletes backWe emphasize on core strengthening, since all the movements and strength is centered at the body’s core.   When the core is weak, movements can alter the patterns, which may result in pain and injury.

We believe the patient plays an important role in the recovery.  After the doctor fully educates the patient on the exercises and care, it is up to the patient to perform the exercises.   The treatment can cause mild soreness or swelling, which is normal. However, if the pain increases, stop the treatment and consult with the doctor.

The customized exercises are simple and require low-tech equipment, such as Theraband, free weights, exercise ball, etc.  Once the patient has mastered the exercises, they can be performed at home or at the gym.  In addition, the doctor may recommend postural awareness, ergonomic changes, home exercises, home stretching, and other forms of treatment.
